CounterPics does not have user accounts, logins, or Riot account sign-in. It does not use cookies, localStorage, or sessionStorage. There are no forms, no file uploads, and no advertising or tracking scripts anywhere on the site. Champion and opponent selection happens entirely in your browser and is never sent to us.

Like effectively any website, some information is processed by the infrastructure that serves this site, independent of anything CounterPics itself chooses to collect:

• Our hosting provider, Vercel, may automatically log standard request data such as IP address, browser/user agent, requested page, and timestamp, for operating and securing the service. How long this data is retained is set by Vercel's own policies, not by CounterPics.
• Champion images are loaded directly from Riot Games' Data Dragon CDN (ddragon.leagueoflegends.com) by your browser. Riot's CDN provider may see your IP address and request metadata when it serves those images, under Riot Games' own privacy practices.

CounterPics currently uses the following third-party infrastructure. This list will be updated whenever a new service is added:

• Riot Games Data Dragon — champion names, titles, and icons.
• Riot Games LoL API — source of the underlying match data. Only a separate ingestion service that CounterPics operates calls this API and holds the associated API key; the public website never calls the Riot API directly.
• Neon (Postgres) — stores aggregated League of Legends match statistics (champion matchup win rates and similar), populated by that separate ingestion service. The public CounterPics website reads this data but holds no information about site visitors themselves.
• Vercel — hosts and serves the website, and may log standard access data at the infrastructure level.

CounterPics does not currently use analytics, advertising, error monitoring, or AI services. If any of these are added in the future, this policy will be updated before they go live.

CounterPics does not sell personal information and does not share data with third parties beyond the infrastructure necessary to operate the site, described above.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding information processed about you under applicable privacy laws. Because CounterPics does not collect personal information directly, most such rights would concern the infrastructure-level logs described above. Contact counterpicksadmin@gmail.com with any request and we will respond to the extent reasonably possible.

CounterPics is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

This policy will be updated if CounterPics adds features that change what information is processed — for example analytics, user accounts, payments, additional collection of personal information, AI-generated features, or new third-party service providers. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
